Who is Francis?
The Lenses of the Cardinal, the Sociologist, the Journalists
All focused on Francis. To understand who he is and where he wants to go. In the Church, at all levels, criticisms of the pope are no longer being silenced. They are voiced openly. Among the cardinals, the most explicit is Francis George

Transcript for Sr. Vassa's Talk Given Earlier This Year
Living Tradition in the City: Talk by Sister Dr. Vassa Larin University of Vienna, Austria
So the point I’m actually making is that this very unfortunate thought, that somehow it’s the monastics who have the real spiritual life, and sort of waiting around for some future, more appropriate moment when I will begin the spiritual life, - this is a very damaging and unfortunate kind of supposition to have.

Ecumenism Rewritten by Enzo Bianchi and Alberto Melloni by Sandro Magister
The leaders of the “school of Bologna” have a very ambitious new project in the works: a history of the movement for Christian unity aimed at a thorough reform of the Catholic Church, starting with the dismantling of the papacy in its current form. They believe they have an ally in Pope Francis
Before (and during?) the extraordinary synod, Cardinal Kasper claimed the support of Pope Francis for bringing his initiative to discussion. Perhaps the pope only supported that the proposal be discussed, not the proposal itself - he seems to have high regard for Kasper's theology. Did Kasper misrepresent the Holy Father in any way?
