Blessings in the Light of Christ~

I grew up across the street playing backyard football with Fr Steve Brock.

Pretty amazing where we end up, with Thomas Aquinas and Thomas of India. I'm still a student of Aquinas too. . . always admire how he both "summitted" and "turned a corner" when he got of hold of the eastern fathers towards the end of his years. . .

Hello Fr. Michael,

I had an opportunity to meet Fr. Stephen Brock last year. He is doing good work in "Thomistic" philosophy. Do you have a book or text which talks about St. Thomas Aquinas getting hold of the eastern fathers? iirc, he does use the work of St. John Damascene, but I didn't think he was familiar with the texts of most of the others.
