Thank you for posting this; this is the first time I've seen his face after reading so much of his writings!

Have you read his The Thomist article "From Schrödinger's Cat to Thomistic Ontology" and the review of his book: "Thomism and the Quantum Enigma" by William A. Wallace, O.P.?

I have learned much from his writings on philosophy of physics/philosophy of science. Seeing the way he is dressed for the video makes me wonder, though, if he has drifted away from Catholicism. I even had doubts as to whether that was him, though without the beard he does loook like the Wolfgang Smith one sees in photos on the internet, just older. Perhaps he went "native" for the sake of the audience or because of a reactionary streak related to his affiliation with various organizations.

I'm almost 100% certain this isn't Wolfgang Smith because this lecturer referred to him in the 3rd person in the first video.

It appears to be Seyyed Hossein Nasr, who wrote a review of Smith's Quantum Enigma.

That explains things...
