Centenary of the Malines Conversations
This year marks the centenary of the Malines Conversations, which gave rise to the idea of an Anglicanism in communion with Rome, “united, but not absorbed.” This was an explicit concept in the development of the Ordinariates and we give thanks for the way this has been realised. https://t.co/bGYp2y1u9P

John 17 Movement
“Together in love, we Christians can change the world, we can change ourselves, because God is Love!” @Pontifex https://t.co/cJYisEWrFg
— Catholic News Agency (@cnalive) June 9, 2021
Intro:
THIS CENTURY, WE ARE SENSING THAT GOD IS SOVEREIGNLY VISITING HIS PEOPLE WITH A FRESH OPTIMISM AND DESIRE FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH. This is A UNITY NOT BASED ON UNIFORMITY OF DOCTRINE AND PRACTICE, BUT RATHER A RECONCILIATION of relationships CALLING US BACK TO JESUS’ PRAYER IN THE 17TH CHAPTER OF JOHN’S GOSPEL—THAT HIS FOLLOWERS WOULD BE ONE. THAT PRAYER, WE BELIEVE, EXPRESSES THE CLEAR PURPOSE OF SALVATION. SIN’S GOAL IS DIVISION, ENDING WITH EACH OF US BEING ALONE, SEPARATED FROM OUR CREATOR AND EACH OTHER. SALVATION’S GOAL IS TO BRING US INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY BACK INTO HARMONY WITH OUR CREATOR AND EACH OTHER. DISPLAYING THAT HARMONY IS A MAJOR PART OF THE CHURCH’S CALL. IT IS OUR SENSE THAT AWARENESS IS ALREADY AND WILL CONTINUE TO TAKE CENTER STAGE DURING THIS CENTURY. THE HOLY SPIRIT IS STIRRING AT THIS MOMENT, CAUSING A FAITH TO RISE IN THE LORD’S PEOPLE THROUGHOUT THE WORLD, REMINDING US OF JESUS’ WORDS TO HIS FIRST DISCIPLES, “YOU KNOW THE SAYING, IT’S FOUR MONTHS BETWEEN PLANTING AND HARVEST, BUT I TELL YOU WAKE UP, THE HARVEST IS NOW.” (JOHN 4:35)”
But there is no salvation without following God's commandments, and His commandments are part of doctrine, as well as the truth of the Incarnation and many other truths. How can there not be agreement on these? And if they concede that there must be this agreement, then how can they allow such a lie to be printed as Christian?

Ines Angeli Murzaku on Bose
by Ines Angeli Murzaku
The focus of the Bose community in Magnano, Italy is ecumenism, but it is not an authentic unity where theological, ecclesiological, and historical differences are discussed, prayed for, and lived out.
"There is, according the Rule, no need to change or convert or change denomination, because one belongs to Christ through the church of his/her baptism to the end."
Baptism without the Gift of the Holy Spirit is incomplete.
Speaking of ironies, the day (July 22, 2014) Pope Francis appointed Br. Bianchi as consultor to the Pontifical Council for the Promotion of Christian Unity, this how Bianchi responded to the unexpected appointment: “The Pope will reform the papacy, and this will favor the relations with the Orthodox,” adding that “the reform of the papacy means a new balance between synodality and primacy…This would help to create a new style of papal primacy and the government of bishops.”
